Choosing the Right Moisturizer

Moisturizer is not one product. It is a texture decision you make based on climate, sleep, and how aggressive the rest of your shelf is.
Oily or humid: a lotion-weight essence like Serein may be enough by day, with Nuit only at night. Dry or air-conditioned: Nuit morning and night, and Silk on the neck. Reactive: skip fragrance, skip acids, and look for ceramides and oat. That is the whole decision tree.
Lifestyle edits the formula. If you train at lunch, you want something that will not slide. If you fly monthly, you want a cream that can be packed in 100 ml and a mist that is cabin-legal. Velours on the body does the same job as Nuit on the face — richer than lotion, cleaner than oil.
When in doubt, buy the cream you will actually finish. An elegant jar that stays three-quarters full is just interior design.
